Spectrum Packaging Industries Sdn. Bhd. purchased its current manufacturing facility in Seremban, Malaysia, in 2011 and proceeded to purchase production machinery from reputable Taiwan machine manufacturers with the intention of manufacturing garbage bags and can liners for export markets in the United States and Europe. The factory’s structural and infrastructure work was completed in January 2012, and production machinery arrived in February 2012.
Manufacturing operations begin in April 2012, with the first export shipment arriving in May 2012. SCS Global Inc. certified Spectrum Packaging Industries Sdn. Bhd. in 2012 to produce 20 percent post-consumer recycle content” bags for the US market.
Spectrum Packaging Industries Sdn. Bhd. specializes in production of LDPE and HDPE bags and films using both virgin and recycled resins as required by customers. Using 3 layer extrusion machinery allows us to tailor films to suit customers requirements in both cost and texture / strength. Finished products include garbage bags / can liners in either coreless or on core roll or flat packed bottom seal. Spectrum Packaging Industries Sdn. Bhd. have recently introduced new machinery for the manufacture of t-shirt carrier bags and printed bags.
